When we first chose Sid, we knew that he had the potential to be a large cat. All you had to do was to look at his feet.
When we went to visit him at the breeder, a huge, black, lumbering Maine Coon made his way toward the sofa as I sat holding Sid. His name was Frank. He was the largest cat I’d ever seen. He was also one of the sweetest. He stayed right beside me and demanded my attention, even though I was completely enchanted by little Sid. The breeder commented that Sid was larger than Frank was at the same age. Sid’s first veterinarian remarked that he was the largest kitten he had ever seen. We fully expect him to be pushing a Guinness Book of World record someday.
As they say, go big or go home. Oh boy….
